Social Impact Leadership Australia (SILA) is a ground-breaking national capacity building and leadership program designed specifically for CEOs of Australian for-purpose organisations.
This fully-funded, world-class initiative strengthens leadership capability and empowers CEOs to drive meaningful change across the sector.
In 2025, after supporting almost 100 CEOs nationwide, SILA returns to NSW and ACT! Applications open on 3 March 2025—subscribe to stay updated or watch the information session.
Since 2021, SILA has been proudly funded by The Myer Foundation, Sidney Myer Fund, the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, and the Paul Ramsay Foundation. This year, we are thrilled to welcome a new funding partner – Snow Foundation – who shares in SILA’s vision to unlock the potential of Australia’s for-purpose sector.
SILA is delivered by the Centre for Social Impact, a world leader in social impact education, research and leadership.

“SILA is the culmination of significant effort from a number of leaders, and supported by foundations I respect. The opportunity to engage with 23 of my peers over the course of a number of months was really beneficial. We always do a lot with a little in the for-purpose sector, and the challenges we face aren’t really so different. Building relationships can lighten the leadership load a lot.”
