The Centre for Social Impact is delighted to introduce the 24 exceptional CEOs from across Victoria and Tasmania who have been selected to participate in SILA Cohort 6.
Over the next 10 months, these for-purpose CEOs will undertake our world-class leadership program designed to transform how they lead and deepen the impact they create.

The cohort represents the second intake from Victoria and Tasmania, further expanding SILA’s national network of purpose-driven leaders. Over ten years, SILA will support 240 CEOs, as well as their 240 step-up leaders, and over 350 board directors, investing in the leadership needed to drive lasting, meaningful change.
“I’m beyond excited to join this incredible cohort. SILA is a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity that affords the space, time and networks for sector leaders to reflect deeply on our craft and how to lead change together. The ripple effects will be long-lasting – for us as leaders, for those leading around us, and I hope ultimately for the people and communities at the heart of our collective work,”
– Juanita Pope, CEO, Victorian Council of Social Services.
“Development opportunities, especially for tightly-resourced, non-profit organisations, are few and far between. The SILA program addresses this gap, and is uniquely designed for the needs of the for-purpose sector in Australia,”
– Steph Say, CEO, HoMie
“I love that SILA has been designed with rigorous evidence, involves individual coaching and includes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take a sabbatical to recalibrate both my work and personal lives. And I think the huge bonus is not just the network of other people doing the program, but the fact that SILA wants to shape our ability to think as a group about systems-level change,”
– Marius Smith, CEO, Vacro
“The opportunity to be part of the SILA program has come at exactly the right time for me and for Reconciliation Tasmania… For me, the SILA program is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity which offers awareness and enrichment, strengthening and renewal so that I can have confidence in the leadership that this challenge – and response – requires,”
– Pauline Cook, CEO, Reconciliation Council of Tasmania
